Virtual Field Trips

Sydney in Cyberspace

Cyber Host Schools

  1. Share your stories and adventures in your home city with those who have not had the opportunity to visit or stay long.
  2. Where would you take them, what would you show them about where you live.
  3. Look for photos and pictures of these places your own collection which can be scanned and sent digitally if equipment permits.
  4. Search the web for sites on the city. The EdNa search engine can be used for such a task)
  5. Send an introductory e-mail to the 'visitors' e-mail list telling them about the city generally and outline the tour you intend taking them on. Eg. History, climate, favourite places, people, school life, recreation, parks
  6. Become an expert in an aspect of your city and work with a team to develop a tour that others will enjoy.
